Walk A Mile In Her Shoes Event In Casper

So this morning in mentioning the things going on this weekend, I happened to mention this walk and that if someone had a nice set of pumps in a size 12 I would consider signing up. WRONG MOVE.

A set of size 12's showed up and although I am unable to participate, my penance is to make sure everyone hears about it so here is the 411.

Strap on your heels and ‘Walk a Mile in Her Shoes’ this Saturday. And if you need to borrow some there will be high heels available.

Its a mile long walk through the Eastridge Mall to raise awareness of sexual assault and gender violence. It wraps up Victim Rights Week and Sexual Violence Awareness Month.

“We have some high heels that have been donated, but its first come first serve. Were going to have different sizes, though you may want to bring your own pair if you have large feet.”

The walk gets underway at 9Am and all proceeds will benefit the Self Help Center.
