A 28-year-old Cheyenne transient wanted for failing to appear in court now faces drug charges after police caught her with methamphetamine.

Latiffany Rasha Williams was arrested on July 15 after an officer spotted her having sex in one of the Crow Creek drainage tunnels under Interstate 180.

When the officer searched Williams, he found a meth pipe and crystal meth in her pants pocket. An additional meth pipe and two syringes containing liquid meth were also found in her backpack.

While being booked into jail, a deputy found three additional bags of crystal meth hidden in Williams' pants.

Williams has been charged with felony possession of methamphetamine (liquid), taking a controlled substance into a penal institution, misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine and being under the influence of controlled substances.

Williams is currently being held in the Laramie County jail on a $3,000 cash bond. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 27 at 9:30 a.m.
