Wolfgang Puck, for the 17th consecutive year will be feeding Hollywood celebrities who attend the annual Governor's Ball the follows the Academy Awards ceremony. Some 1,500 guests are expected to chow down on a menu including Oscar-shaped flat-bread with salmon, and mini Kobe beef burgers.

The celebrity chef expects to serve 1,800 pounds of Dover sole, 1,200 oysters, 1,000 spiny lobsters, 500 pounds of smoked salmon, 40 pounds of caviar, 25 pounds of black truffles and six Spanish hams at the event.  The desert lineup includes dark chocolate lollipops crusted with candied ginger, mini-cupcakes, lemon cheesecake with raspberry cremieux, and some 4,000 gold-dusted chocolate Oscars, all washed down with 1,200 bottles of Moet & Chandon champagne.

Puck says most of the stars tend to be hungry after the Oscar ceremony, because they tend not to eat on Oscar Sunday, or they've been dieting tin order to fit into their dresses.
