My question about the University of Wyoming Cowboys men's basketball team just hasn't been answered as of yet. Yes they are still undefeated at 7-0 on this newly minted basketball season. But my question of "Are they really this good, are they playing lesser talent, or is it a combination of both has yet to be answered.

Last night the Cowboys were on the road and it took the great effort of Luke Martinez (who dropped 17) for the Pokes to beat U.C. Santa Barbara in California. In addition to Martinez' 17, Derrious Gilmore and Larry Nance Jr. each had 12. And for a road victory the Cowboys played balanced at both ends of the floor. A good omen for this team to perform so well on the road early in the season. Because in the Mountain West Conference the proof of a good team, a conference contender, is wins on the road. And that's where my question will be answered. On the road. An excellent home test will be this Saturday as 19th ranked Colorado will come to the Double A to test the Pokes defense. Game can be heard on our sister station AM 1030 KTWO around 8pm.
