If you haven't been able to log on to your Pokemon GO app today (Saturday, July 16th, 2016)... you are not alone. Apparently the popular game has been out, nationwide!

Hackers have taken credit for bringing down one of the most popular smartphone apps/games in the world right now. A group known as PoodleCorp have taken credit via Twitter.

PoodleCorp has also stated that:

"Just was a lil test, we will do something on a larger scale soon".

Whether this is an allusion to something more sinister or terrorist-like is unknown at the this point in time, but one thing is for sure... a lot of Pokemon Trainers were extremely upset most of Saturday morning.

According to Pokemon GO's official Twitter feed they are aware of the problem and the servers should now be up, but some Wyoming residents (including Casper and Cheyenne) are still experiencing intermittent outages.
