It's been a few weeks since we've heard much of anything about the 'Zombieland' TV series set to debut on Amazon, with its pilot in the can and a number of photos from the production in circulation. When last we heard, series writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick were eying an April debut, reception of which would put them into production for November, but will the pilot debut as early as April 18? Get the latest news on the 'Zombieland' TV series pilot inside!

Though not officially ordered to series, we're eager to get a look at the forthcoming 'Zombieland' TV series debuting its pilot episode on Amazon, the reception of which will help the streaming network determine which of 7 comedy pilots will be granted a series order. The series picks up two weeks after the events of the 2009 film, and features a cast comprised of Kirk Ward as Tallahassee, Maiara Walsh as Wichita, Tyler Ross as Columbus, and Izabela Vodovic as Little Rock.

According to Ain't It Cool News, 'Zombieland' and potentially the other six comedy pilots will be made available as early as Thursday, April 18, to be accessible free-of-charge on Amazon's streaming service for the next month. Original ‘Zombieland’ writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick wrote the pilot and executive produce with the movie’s producer, Gavin Polone.

We'll keep you posted on 'Zombieland's official release, and hopefully news of a trailer soon to come, but what say you? Are you getting as ravenous for the 'Zombieland' TV series as we are? What would you like to see from the new adventures?
