A Big Country Star Cruising Into Thermopolis, WY This Summer
Country music star Chase Rice is no stranger to Wyoming. He's an avid outdoorsman, has played shows here, has spent time with his family, and even spent a few hours waiting for his vehicle to be repaired in the Cowboy State.
He's returning to perform a big show for Wyoming Discovery Days on July 12th at the Thermopolis Golf Course this summer with the Casper Entertainment Group.
I've known Chase for quite a few years, and if I were to compare him to anyone, I'd say he's the Forest Gump of Country Music because of all the different things he's accomplished.
He was a Division I football player at the University Of North Carolina (Tarheels).
He was a tire changer on a NASCAR Pit Crew.
Finished as runner-up on Survivor: Nicaragua.
Owns a bison farm in Tennessee.
Is an award-winning country songwriter, musician, and singer. He was a writer on a few songs you've probably heard:
- Drinking Beer, Talking God. Amen.
- Eyes On You.
- Lonely If You Are.
- Ready Set Roll
- And oh yeah, a little song called CRUISE, performed by his buddies and co-writers Brian and Tyler of Florida Georgia Line.
It's extremely fitting that Thermopolis is the county seat of HOT Springs County and known as the HOT city because July 12 will be the hottest day when Chase Rice hits the stage.
High Energy.
Great Songs.
Huge Party.
Fun you will tell your grandchildren about.
Mark your calendars and get your tickets you will NOT want to miss it.
