The Natrona County Cow-Belles are back in action this week, serving up a prime rib dinner, having a live and silent auction, rocking out with A Band Name Sue, and all in the name of raising money for local agriculture programs, community senior meals, scholarships, and helping a local family in a time of need.

The annual Natrona County Cow-Belle's Mardi Gras Gala is happening on March 7 at the Casper Shrine Club to raise funds for several events.

  • The Ag Expo at the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo Grounds is raising awareness of the beef industry by hosting 3rd graders from Natrona County.
  • Provide meals for seniors in the community.
  • Make beef chub charity donations to local charities around the community.
  • Offer scholarships for students.
  • Sponsoring the 4-H beef show
  • Help out with the Special Olympics during CNFR.

There's no doubt the NC Cow-Belles stay busy throughout the year, but also jump into action when a member of the Cow-Belles Family is in need. At the gala, there will be a special auction with proceeds benefiting the Justin Crimm family. Justin was involved in a horrible car accident and remains hospitalized in Colorado. The funds will help the family in their time of need

Tickets are $50, or you can purchase a table of 6 for $275, or if you're just interested in attending the dance, you can still get tickets by reaching out through the Natrona County Cow-Belles Facebook page, by visiting Moss Saddles Boots and Tack, or by reaching out to President Melissa Carter at 307-215-6973
