New top-ranked teams in 1A girls and 2A boys underscored the changes in the WyoPreps Coaches and Media Basketball Polls revealed on Wednesday from WyoPreps.com. Cokeville returned to the top of the 1A girls’ top five for the first time since the second rankings six weeks ago. The Panthers received fewer first-place votes than Burlington, but more second-place ballots pushed Cokeville to No. 1. Thermopolis is back on top of 2A boys for the first time since the preseason poll. The defending champion Bobcats earned eight first-place votes, and that was enough to overtake Wyoming Indian.
