WyoPreps Coaches and Media Football Poll Features Change in Four of Five Classes
Class 2A had a new team at No. 1, two teams re-entered the rankings, and one made its 2024 poll debut on Wednesday in the latest WyoPreps Coaches and Media Football Poll. Four of the five classifications changed. Big Horn regained the top spot in 2A for the first time since Week 3, and Newcastle made its debut in the rankings at No. 5. In 3A, Douglas jumped back into the top five in fourth. Class 4A had its first change in the rankings for the first time in several weeks. Thunder Basin slid into the fifth spot and rejoined the poll for the first time since the preseason poll. Saratoga fell two spots in Class 1A 9-man, and Class 1A 6-man had no changes. This week’s poll featured three unanimous choices for No. 1.
