As we reach the mid-point of the 2026 Wyoming High School outdoor track and field season, Week 5 is packed with in-state competitions. The schedule features 16 track meets in the Cowboy State in a variety of formats. There are invites, duals, a triangular, one relay meet, a throwers-only competition, and even a field-only event.

WYOPREPS WEEK 5 OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD SCHEDULE 2026

The weather forecast moved track meets up from the weekend to mid-week, as Burns, Douglas, Evanston, and Rawlins adjust the date of their competition. Shoshoni has already canceled its track meet on Friday. Here is the Week 5 schedule. It is subject to change.

MONDAY, APRIL 13

GLENROCK THROWERS MEET at Glenrock HS – Glenrock, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County.

Lillian Hudson from KW and Hunter Anderson of Douglas swept the two events on the girls' and boys' sides, respectively.

 

TUESDAY, APRIL 14

BASIN TRIANGULAR at Powell HS – Cody, Lovell, Powell.

Girls Score = Cody 246.50, Powell 245.50.

Boys Score = Cody 262.50, Powell 214.50.

BUFFALO AT DOUGLAS – dual

Girls Score = Buffalo 94, Douglas 31.

Boys Score = Buffalo 75, Douglas 47.

LANDER AT RIVERTON – dual

Girls Score = Lander 96, Riverton 38.

Boys Score = Riverton 93, Lander 41.

PANTHER TWILIGHT at Wright HS – Campbell County, Glenrock, Kaycee, Sundance, Thunder Basin, Wright.

Girls Team Scores = Rawlins 119, Rock Springs 114, Pinedale 107, Green River 97.50, Saratoga 87.50, Little Snake River 38, H.E.M. 24.

Boys Team Scores = Rock Springs 155, Rawlins 126, Pinedale 101, Saratoga 96, Little Snake River 90, Green River 48, H.E.M. 19.

Pinedale's Macie Antonino won the girls' 100 & 300 hurdle races. Emily Ramsey from Rawlins took 1st in the long jump & triple jump. Saratoga's Brody Johnson swept the boys' hurdle races.

RICK AND WENDY SCHULER INVITATIONAL at Evanston HS – Big Piney, Cokeville, Evanston, Farson-Eden, Jackson, Kemmerer, Mountain View, Lyman, Star Valley.

Girls Teams Scores = Evanston 173, Cokeville 123, Lyman 91, Kemmerer 79, Big Piney 66, Star Valley 56, Farson-Eden 29, Mountain View 23.

Boys Team Scores = Evanston 245, Kemmerer 76, Big Piney 55, Cokeville 54, Lyman 35, Mountain View 29, Star Valley 28, Farson-Eden 28, Jackson 6.

Cokeville's Addison Barnes won the 200 meters, 400 meters, and long jump. She added a fourth place in the 100 hurdles. Evanston's Cassie Barker won the 100 hurdles and high jump. In the boys' division, Timber Fitch of Evanston won the 100 meters and 110 hurdles.

BURNS INVITATIONAL at Burns HS – Burns, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Lusk, Pine Bluffs, Rock River; Out-of-State = Leyton (NE).

Girls Team Scores = Burns 205.5, Central 144, Lusk 88.5, Pine Bluffs 79, East 22, South 20, Leyton 4, Rock River 4.

Boys Team Scores = Burns 206, Lusk 91, Pine Bluffs 87, Central 84, East 58, South 57.5, Leyton 36, Rock River 27.5.

Central's Holly Clement won the 400 meters, 100 hurdles, and 300 hurdles to top the girls' field. In the boys' division, Raynce Brott of Lusk swept the two throwing events. Teammate Nathan Miller won the high jump and long jump.

DEVILS TOWER TRACK CLASSIC 2026 at Hulett HS – Hulett, Moorcroft, Newcastle, Sundance, Upton; Out-of-State = Carter County HS (MT).

Girls Team Scores = Sundance 154, Upton 116, Newcastle 110.50, Moorcroft 103, Carter County 85.50, Hulett 58.

Boys Team Scores = Newcastle 169.50, Hulett 123, Sundance 111.50, Carter County 84, Carter County 61, Moorcroft 32.

Tess Daley of Sundance won the girls' 1600 & 3200 meters. Adalyn Olson from Sundance won the 200 meters,100 hurdles, and the long jump. Jaylin Mills swept the throwing events. Sundance also won 3 of the 4 relays. In the boys' division, Haydon Ritchie from Hulett won the 800 & 1600 meters. Newcastle's Adam Butler swept the hurdle races. Kade Mills from Sundance won the high jump & long jump. 

DOUGLAS INVITATIONAL at Douglas HS – Douglas, Glendo, Glenrock, Guernsey-Sunrise, Midwest, Sheridan, Shoshoni, Thermopolis, Wheatland.

Girls Team Scores = Douglas 143, Riverton 121.50, Sheridan 102, Glenrock 73.5, Shoshoni 54, Wheatland 51, Thermopolis 42, Midwest 8, Guernsey-Sunrise 3, Prairie View CS 2.

Boys Team Scores = Riverton 152.50, Thermopolis 138.50, Sheridan 114.5, Glenrock 68, Douglas 59, Wheatland 37, Shoshoni 20, Midwest 19, Guernsey-Sunrise 7.5.

Lawson Yeates from Riverton swept the 2 girls' hurdle races. Sheridan's Leah Lynn won the 100 & 200 meters. In the boys' division, Rudy Green took 1st in the 100 & 200 meters.

SNAKE RIVER FIELD-ONLY MEET at LSR in Baggs, WY – Encampment, H.E.M., Little Snake River, Rawlins.

Riley Westby of Rawlins won the high jump and shot put in the girls' division. Bella Vaipuna of H.E.M. won the long jump and triple jump. Tucker Devlin from LSR swept the 2 throwing events. 

T-TOWN QUALIFIER 2026 at Torrington HS – Lingle-Ft. Laramie, Southeast, Torrington.

Girls Team Scores = Southeast 64.5, Torrington 63.5, Lingle-Ft. Laramie 34.

Boys Team Scores = Lingle-Ft. Laramie 63, Torrington 58, Southeast 33.

Torrington's Natalie Hawes won the 100 hurdles & long jump. Teammate Brooklyn Asmus swept the 2 sprint races. Kinley Bluemel of Torrington won both girls' throwing events. In the boys' division, LFL's Brady Cook won the 110 & 300 hurdles, plus the discus. Teammate Lincoln Speckner won the 200 meters and long jump. Torrington's Cameron Coulter won the 800 meters and high jump.

Out-of-State events:

Centaurus Twilight in Lafayette, CO – Cheyenne East.

The East girls finished 5th with 49 points. The East boys came in 2nd with 67 points.

Maggie Madsen won the girls' 1600 meters. Juliana Jeffrey won the discus and was 2nd in the shot put. The East boys won the 4x800-meter relay. Derrick Murphy captured the high jump crown. 

Rapid City Track-O-Rama in Rapid City, SD – Campbell County, Thunder Basin.

Grace Miller won the girls' 100 meters. Lillyann Melton won the shot put and took 3rd in the discus. The TB girls took 2nd in 2 relays. The TB boys were runner-up in 3 relays.

 

FRIDAY, APRIL 17

NATRONA COUNTY INVITATIONAL at NCHS in Casper – canceled.

SHOSHONI HS INVITEcanceled.

Out-of-State events:

Rigby Physical Therapy Invitational in Rigby, ID – Jackson, Star Valley.

Star Valley won the girls and boys 4x800 relays.

 

SATURDAY, APRIL 18

BILL GERRARD MEMORIAL at Greybull HS – Arapahoe Charter, Burlington, Greybull, Lovell, Riverside, Rocky Mountain, St. Stephens, Tongue River, Wind River, Worland.

Girls Team Scores = Worland 173.50, Lovell 153.50, Greybull 77.50, Tongue River 53.50, Burlington 48, Riverside 19, Wind River 13.

Boys Team Scores = Lovell 140, Worland 118, Tongue River 74, Burlington 72, Greybull 57, Wind River 43, Rocky Mountain 38, Riverside 21, Arapahoe Charter 2, St. Stephens 2.

For the girls, Cherise Douzenis of Worland won the 200 & 400 meters. Teammate Kennedy Bassett won both girls' hurdle races. Greybull's Wyatt Whaley swept the girls' throwing events. In the boys' division, Lovell's Hunter Krei swept the 100 & 200 meters. Teammate Matthew Newman won the 110 hurdles and long jump, while Owen Walker took 1st in the high jump and triple jump. 

Out-of-State events:

Billings Invite at Lockwood HS in Billings, MT - Big Horn, Buffalo, Kelly Walsh, Sheridan.

Girls Team Scores = Kelly Walsh 2nd (70 pts), Sheridan 3rd (62.5), Big Horn 8th (25), Buffalo 15th (4.33).

Boys Teams Scores = Sheridan 1st (99 pts), Buffalo 12th (14), Big Horn 13th (13), Kelly Walsh 14th (7).

Ruby Jacobs from Sheridan won the girls' 100 hurdles. Lillian Hudson of KW won the discus and the high jump. Peyton Hamrick of KW won the pole vault. In the boys' division, Rudy Green of Sheridan won the 100 & 200 meters. Buffalo's John Hines won the 110 hurdles race. Sheridan's Adam Frey took 1st in the 300 hurdles. Teammate Cole Bunting won the pole vault. 

Center of The Nation Invite in Belle Fourche, SD – canceled.

Davis Invitational in Kaysville, UT – Cokeville, Evanston, Lyman, Mountain View.

Cokeville's Addison Barnes took 1st in the girls' open high jump. Evanston won the girls' open 4x100 relay. Jayden Rieker of Evanston won the open 400 meters.

Randall Hess Roughrider Invitational in Johnstown, CO – Cheyenne Central.

Central placed 10th in the girls' team standings with 28 points. They were 8th in the boys' team standings with 36 points. Kalyanna Flores was 2nd in the girls' 200 meters and 3rd in the 400 meters. Tegan Krause won the boys' 400 meters. Cal Bibbey was runner-up in the 3200 meters.

Rigby Physical Therapy Invitational in Rigby, ID – Jackson, Star Valley.

Girls Team Scores = Star Valley 7th (57 pts), Jackson 8th (53).

Boys Team Scores = Star Valley 4th (88 pts), Jackson 6th (48).

Star Valley won the freshman girls' 4x100 relay. The Lady Braves won the 4x800 relay. The SV boys won the 4x800 relay. Elia Matautia from SV won the boys' shot put.
