If you follow politics, you've heard the term RINO. It's not a compliment. It means Republican In Name Only. In other words, the person is a poser. But on occasion, you will meet someone who wears that moniker proudly.

Gabriel Green is a self-proclaimed DINO. Democrat In Name Only. He is on the Demorat ticket for Governor of Wyoming. But not all Wyoming Democrats are happy about that. He is one of the more moderate thinkers in Wyoming's Democrat party.

Gabriel says that he is running for Governor to end the corruption, dysfunction, and recklessness that have come to define our politics.

Gabriel joined Wyomings radio talk host Glenn Woods. You can hear that interview below.

Gabriel was born in Casper on the 4th of July, 1996. Today, he lives in Sheridan with his dog Nobu.

Gabriel was the state champion of Lincoln-Douglas debate in his senior year of high school. He is still the highest-ranked individual debater at the national tournament in state history, where he proudly represented Kelly Walsh. After graduating high school, he attended American University in Washington, D.C. through a Daniels Fund scholarship, which allowed him to study everything going wrong with our country from right in the heart of the nation’s capital.

After college, he eventually joined a conservative nonprofit think tank dedicated to promoting fiscally responsible governance and focused on empowering the states by resisting federal overreach. He has worked with policymakers from all 50 states.

At the beginning of 2025, Gabriel decided to transition to consulting with Wyoming nonprofits, but quickly found that Wyoming's corruption had reached the point where free speech was being actively stifled. After being fired for daring to criticize the local democrats, he realized that he needed to step up and help his state in a more official capacity. And that's when the initial efforts to build this DINO movement began.

Gabriel is currently working as a bartender/waiter at the Pony Bar & Grill in Sheridan.

He plans to "skip the line" to the general ballot. Rather than wading into the expensive, divisive, and downright nasty infighting of the Republican Primary, he's just going to take his chances with the Democrat Primary, where he believes voters will be receptive to his working-class, common-sense platform.
