The Casper Police Department just shared a story about how one of their officers accidentally ran over a boy's skateboard when they were out on a call. The officer made good on the accident by surprising him with a brand new one.

I used to be the biggest skater-boy on the block when I was growing up in Casper. It's always nice to see someone else who refuses to let that kind of skater attitude die out despite age or growing up in a place where it does snow more than 3/4 of the year.

People amaze me when they drink and then try to do difficult things. This one involves traffic and possible mangling and death. He got off lucky. Check out this short video.

Dads are great at so much: teaching us how to play catch, embarrassing us in front of our friends when we're in high school, fixing that step on the porch, etc. But skateboarding is not one of those things.
