The father of the Black Crowes' Chris and Rich Robinson has died. According to a post on the rock band's Facebook page Stan Robinson died on Tuesday afternoon. The band had previously cancelled shows scheduled for yesterday and today (Sept. 11).
After a two-year break, the Black Crowes are once again soaring. In March, the band broke its hiatus with the Lay Down With Number 13 tour, which included sold-out dates in the U.K., a few festival gigs and a spot opening for a couple of Bruce Springsteen's stadium concerts.
The Black Crowes recently announced a reunion tour and a new live album, and now the band have given fans their first taste of the upcoming music. The Crowes' cover of Bob Dylan's 'Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You' is streaming at RollingStone.com.
