We've been mourning the sad loss of 'Calvin and Hobbes' ever since cartoonist Bill Watterson stopped producing the beloved comic strip in 1995. But apparently the strip hasn't gone completely forgotten, since a piece of original 'Calvin and Hobbes' artwork recently broke a record at auction by selling for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

While our loose change typically languishes in a jar, this man uses coins in an extremely unique way. With the combined skill of countless bank tellers, Tai Star of Tuscon, AZ set a new record by stacking 3,118 coins on one dime, according to RecordSetter.com.

Matt Stutzman seems an unlikely archery champion. Not only because he just picked up the sport a mere two years ago, but because Stutzman was born without arms. Despite the odds, he recently broke the world record for longest archery shot, hitting a target 230 yards away.

This long cat is the world’s longest. Mymain Stewart Gilligan, or Stewie for short (and yes that is a ‘Family Guy reference’) is a Maine Coon whose official length is 48.5 inches, making him Guinness‘ World’s Longest Cat.

It’s hard to imagine one dog jumping rope, but 13? At the same time? That requires real talent and training. That’s why Uchida Geinousha, who trains dogs for the Super Wan Wan Circus has been awarded the Guinness World Record for dog handler to train the most dogs skipping rope at the same time.

Harbor, an eight-year-old coonhound, has a 13.5-inch-long right ear and a 12.25-inch-long left one, earning the pooch the Guinness World Record for longest ears on a living dog.

Erin O’Keefe and Amy Milano set an officially-sanctioned world record by slapping each other in face with slices of pizza a combined 174 times in 15 seconds.
