Vinyl disc lovers wait for this time of year with bated breath.Various artists release limited-edition vinyl discs exclusively to independent record stores. The 2015 Record Store Day 'Black Friday' is scheduled for November 27th.

Sony Legacy Recordings has already listed their initial offerings.

Look for projects from Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn & Double Trouble and Judas Priest to be released too.

Hendrix's contribution to the Black Friday sale is Burning Desire, a two-LP set featuring instrumental jams and demos that the late guitar legend recorded in late 1969 and 1970.  The album previously was issued on the Dagger Records label but has never been available on vinyl.

Vaughan & Double Trouble's Record Store Day offering is a double-disc live album titled A Legend in the Making that documents a July 1983 show the band played at Toronto's El Mocambo Club.  The album, which features a white-vinyl LP and a gray-vinyl disc, previously was only available commercially as a bonus CD included with the 2014 box set The Complete Epic Recordings Collection.

Judas Priest will issue the Painkiller EP, a 10-inch disc commemorating the 25th anniversary of the influential heavy-metal band's 1990 album of the same name.  The die-cut buzz saw disc includes Painkiller's Grammy-nominated title track.

Other artists who will be offering special releases in conjunction with Record Store Day's Black Friday sale include Elvis Presley, Alan Parsons Project, Johnny Cash and The Isley Brothers.
