It's time to trim up and decorate the trees and help raise money for some Special Wyoming Olympians.

Tuesday, November 29th is the 28th annual Festival Of Trees event, which serves as the annual fundraiser for the Natrona County branch of Special Olympics Wyoming.

About two dozen decorated trees will be auctioned off at the East Casper Wyoming Athletic Club, and all the money from the auction will help cover the costs of the various Special Olympic Games, held throughout the state each year.

Vincent Vanvugt is a Special Olympian, and he says there's more to the games than just the competition.

"It's all about having fun, it's all about getting to interact with other athletes, with other unified players, getting to know the athletes and all about all of us being accepting into society all as one person."
