A Little Cooler Today, Much Colder by Friday

Temperatures will cool about ten degrees or so today as Pacific air begins to push into the region. On Thursday and Friday, expect much colder temperatures statewide along with increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms.  Snow will mix with rain in the mountains of the west tonight with mountain snows likely Thursday night and into early Friday. Much colder temperatures expected with showers statewide Friday and Saturday with highs only in the 40s and 50s.
