Once again we will have an opportunity to gaze up into the late night/early morning sky and see another meteor shower soaring over Casper.

The Lyrid meteor shower is one that's been going on since April 16th and will be ending April 23rd. This is one of the more interesting solar events since it does take place for an extended period of time.

Unfortunately living in Casper our skies are generally filled with clouds and a few days ago we had a full moon so it may be hard to see this incredible event. So just in case, we are unable to see it I've found a video of last years. Which is amazing seeing how many meteors fly by our planet in such a small period of time. Almost 100 per hour!
