Audition Times Set For “The Producers” At Casper College
Auditions for the Casper College Theatre and Dance Department's summer production of The Producers, will be held Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Empey Black Box Theatre. Call backs will be on Sunday, April 27th from 2 'til 5pm.
The Producers is based on the classic Mel Brooks film starring Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder.
Those wishing to audition are asked to prepare a verse and refrain from any upbeat musical song that shows their range and power. “I am also asking all those who audition to prepare a 60-second humorous monologue or story. During the audition, each person will also be asked to learn a brief dance sequence,” said Garland.
“The Producers” will be performed on the McMurry Mainstage July 17 through 19 and 23 through 26 at 7:30 p.m. with a 2 p.m. performance on July 27.
