The Beatles’ ‘Revolution’ to be covered by Flaming Lips as Tribute to Steve Jobs
Apple Inc. and the Beatles have been intertwined since the computer giant’s earliest days, so it’s only fitting that the band’s music should be used to pay tribute to recently deceased company founder Steve Jobs.
The Flaming Lips have announced plans to debut their cover of the classic Beatles track ‘Revolution’ at the O Music Awards 2 on Oct. 31 — and record their performance on an iPad.
