‘Bar Church’ in Casper Offers Monthly Alternative To Traditional Worship

The good book says: "where two or three are gathered in My name, there I am with them". This seems to be the basis behind Bar Church, a Christian organization that meets the fourth Thursday of every month inside, you guessed it, a bar.

According to their official Facebook page:

The mission of Bar Church is to take the gospel of Jesus to people who are unwilling to participate in a traditional church gathering.

For those uncomfortable in a traditional church setting, this might be the place for you. There a quite a few people looking for god, but for whatever reason, don't feel at home in a chapel or tabernacle, or maybe just don't like the thought of "organized religion".

Things you can expect at Bar Church include live worship music, a message and a come-as-you-are environment.
