Parts of three Casper streets will close Sunday afternoon for a concert on the eve of the total solar eclipse.

The Wyoming Symphony Orchestra will perform its first-ever outdoor pops concert Sunday at the Washington Park Bandshell. As such, three nearby streets will close for about six hours.

From 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., the following streets will be closed:

  • S. Jefferson from Eighth Street to 11th Street;
  • S. McKinley from Eight Street to 12th Street; and
  • E. 11th Street between Jefferson and McKinley.

The City of Casper asks everyone to plan travel accordingly to avoid street closures and any delays they could cause.
