Casper College Offering Free Training That Guarantees Graduates Job Interview

Casper College is offering an 11-week FREE process technology training course that will guarantee class graduates a job interview.

Students will spend time at the refinery to perform hands-on work. They will also spend time at the Dave Johnson Power Plant. The on-site experiences will pair students with industry employees who will provide one-on-one training. The program will cram content into an 11-week window that will give students valuable knowledge in mechanical, electrical and process technology areas.

The program to start Monday (9/16) will be Casper College's first time running the program, but it will be the third program of the style in the state. Laramie County Community College also has a program that partners them with Cheyenne industry partners while Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs partners primarily with the Sinclair Refinery in Sinclair.
