A Casper man was arrested Thursday morning after getting into a fight with his girlfriend and a male housemate who tried to intervene, according to an affidavit filed by a Casper Police Officer with the Natrona County Circuit Court.

Kyle Jewart was charged with domestic assault and simple assault after officers responded a residence on North Forest Drive where he, his girlfriend and the housemate lived.

The officer who filed the report stated, "Jewart to be very agitated while speaking with officers, throwing his hands in the air and yelling."

The girlfriend, who has been in a relationship with Jewart for four years, told an officer she woke up at 6:20 a.m. to get ready for work at 7 a.m.

Jewart became upset, asked her not to leave, asked for a ride so he could be at work at 9 a.m., and threw her across the room, according to the interview.

She didn't know why he was so upset, saying, "'He woke up mad, he doesn't have to do anything and he's always mad.'"

She left the residence, got into her car and he began hitting it and kicking it, according to the affidavit.

The housemate told officers he woke up, heard Jewart and the woman fighting, and went into the living room where he saw him throw car keys at her.

The housemate added he saw them walk out of the residence, and Jewart hitting and kicking the car and standing on the car's hood.

The housemate tried to get Jewart away from the car, and those two began shoving each other. That's when the housemate contacted law enforcement.

Jewart told officers he was upset because his girlfriend wouldn't give him a ride to work. He initially said he yelled at her but didn't hit her.

He later said he did hit and kick the car, but denied hitting his girlfriend.

An officer tried to record a statement from Jewart who declined saying, "'I have nothing to say, I'm too pissed off'" and that he wanted to be left alone to "'chill out.'"

The officer saw a mark on the housemate's arm and arrested Jewart for simple assault.

A search of Jewart's criminal history revealed a conviction in 2010 for felony aggravated assault, according to the affidavit.
