A Casper man who admitted to charges related to allegations that he dragged a woman into a Wendy's bathroom in July and badly beat her will likely serve five-to-seven years behind bars.

Jeromy Page, who was 28 at the time of the assault, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in Natrona County District Court Thursday morning.

As a part of a plea agreement, prosecutors will recommend that he serve five-to-seven years in prison in exchange for other charges in the incident being dismissed.

His defense attorney, Kurt Infanger, will argue during the upcoming sentencing hearing that the sentence be served concurrently with a sentence in a separate domestic violence case.

According to Natrona County District Court filings, Page was sentenced to 18-to-60 months in prison on strangulation and domestic battery charges. The Wyoming Department of Corrections listed his parole eligibility as April of 2018, but it is unclear when Page was released from prison.

An affidavit of probable cause alleges that, in the July incident, Casper police were called to the eastside Wendy's after a witness reported seeing a man drag a woman into the bathroom and hit her.

Police found blood covering the floor, sink and walls of the bathroom.

The woman told police that she and Page had been in a relationship and lived in a Casper hotel. According to court records, the woman asked Page for a birthday cake, which caused him to lose his temper.

Knowing Page could get very violent, the woman left the hotel room and walked to Wendy's. The woman tried to call her mother, but Page tried to take her phone. She went into the bathroom, but Page followed her there as well and demanded that she give him money.

Once inside the restroom, Page punched the woman in her nose multiple times. Assistant Natrona County District Attorney Mike Schafer noted Thursday morning that the woman needed 12 stitches and had a broken nose.

Immediately following the assault, the woman told police that she pretended to be knocked out so Page would stop beating her. The affidavit says he took her ID, credit card and roughly $112.

She had to be taken by ambulance to Wyoming Medical Center following the incident.

In the days leading up to the incident, court documents say Page gave the woman a black eye after getting into an argument. The affidavit says the woman was on the phone with a friend and laughed.

That enraged Page who hit her roughly 12 times, leaving the victim with a black eye, several bruises and a loose tooth.

A sentencing hearing has not yet been scheduled.
