As Casper works to dig out from a major winter storm, officials say they're making progress with plowing efforts across the City.

According to the City of Casper’s Streets Manager Shad Rodgers, City plow crews were able to plow all of the main arterial streets as well half of the secondary collector streets before the shift change at 4:00pm Wednesday. Plow crews will continue clearing main arterial streets around the clock, and they are monitoring incoming weather, according to a statement from the City.

The storm prompted the cancellation of City residential trash collection on Wednesday. An extral collection day has been added for Saturday,  March 16th, 2019, and the Wednesday through Friday routes will be delayed by one day
