Casper Police Department Release ‘Victim Services Program Volunteers’ Video
The Casper Police Department recently shared a video of two volunteers from the Victim Services Program, which featured Jenny Hunter and retired pastor, Bob McNamara.
The video was posted to the official Casper Police Department Facebook page along with the following information:
The Casper Police Department's Victim Services Program provides direct services to the citizens of Casper seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.
The team is made up of two full time CPD employees and a team of volunteers. These volunteers are the heart of our program. These community members give of their time to serve others in their greatest time of need.

Early intervention and advocacy have proven to be extremely helpful to victims and witnesses of crime, as well as to law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
The program provides crisis intervention to victims through assessment of needs, advocacy, notification to family and friends and referral services. It offers long-term follow-up services including victim’s compensation application assistance, restitution recovery, victim impact statement submission, property return, case status and disposition notification, criminal justice orientation and representation and advocacy throughout the criminal justice system.
