Casper Police Respond to Reported Family Fight Thursday
Police officers and paramedics responded to the area of 15th and McKinley on Thursday following a report of a family fight.
No one was in custody when Sgt. Mitch Baker spoke with K2 Radio News shortly after 2 p.m. An ambulance was present at the scene, but Baker said injuries to the parties involved, if any, were minor.
That fight reportedly occurred, at least in part, in the intersection of 15th and McKinley. Police then identified a vehicle of interest in connection with the report and stopped that vehicle in the 1500 Block of 15th Street.
Baker explained that officers were in the early stages of investigating, and he was unable to release further details at the time.
The scene is in the same area where utility work is being performed, making 15th Street particularly narrow for several blocks. Drivers in the area should use caution.
