Casper Police Seek ‘Multiple Individuals’ in Thursday Robbery, Attempted Robbery

The Casper Police Department is hoping to hear from anyone who knows about a robbery and attempted robbery which took place at two Casper businesses Thursday evening.

Sgt. Mike Ogden says "multiple individuals" are believed to have been involved in the attempted robbery of Party Time Liquors at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, and the successful robbery of USA Gasoline about 15 minutes later.  Investigators believe the crimes to be related.

Ogden says no one was injured in either incident, and it's unclear whether any weapons were involved. It is also unclear whether Thursday's crimes are related to the robbery of the Big D Gas Station earlier this week.

Nothing was taken during the attempted robbery of Party Time Liquors, Ogden says, but an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from USA Gasoline.

Investigators are still gathering surveillance footage, which Ogden says police hope to release as soon as possible.
