News Reporter Eats Cat Food on TV to Prove his Point on Bad Meals for the Elderly [VIDEO]
Meet Charlie LeDuff. He's a news reporter and is my new idol. He looks like some random dude, but his reporting is on point. He was covering a story on how they cut back on the local Meals on Wheels program, going from fresh food to previously frozen meals.
He rides along with Meals on Wheels and they are all disgusted by, not only the food, but what has happened to their program -- for many elderly people, it's the only meal of the day.
It's investigative reporting at its finest.
The part that got me was he took a bite of cat food -- as did one of the elderly who suffers from MS -- to prove that it probably tasted better and was cheaper than the stuff they were currently dishing up.
I'm not sure if anything was resolved from this. We need more guys like Charlie LeDuff in our lives.
