Two key contributors to the Wyoming victory in last Saturday night’s Border War were from each side of the border.

Wyoming senior fullback Drew Van Maanen made what Cowboys’ head coach Craig Bohl called ‘the play that ignited’ the game-winning drive. Teammates Josh Allen and Cooper Rothe also mentioned Van Maanen’s play and emotion during the game.

This Cowboy from Colorado took us through that play and just what it meant to him to keep the Bronze Boot in Laramie.

UW sophomore linebacker Logan Wilson played a key part on defense with a team-high 14 tackles. Eleven of them were solo stops. Being from Wyoming, Wilson talked about the defensive performance, key stops, the conditions and also what it meant to win to a “Wyoming” Cowboy.

The Pokes try to keep it going with a road trip to face the Air Force Falcons this Saturday night from Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs. Kick-off is at 8:15 p.m.
