A training exercise designed to simulate a full-scale emergency is set for Saturday, Sept. 7 at Casper College.

Organizers are emphasizing that it is only a drill, and anyone who sees a large number of first responders on campus need not call 911.

The drill will begin at 9 a.m. and last until roughly 2 p.m. It will be held in and around Liesinger Hall; access to the hall and the immediate area surrounding the building will be restricted during the exercise. Organizers ask people to stay away from the area while the drill is being conducted.

The exercise will involve poice, fire, EMS and college personnel. It is being coordinated by the Natrona County Emergency Management Administration, Public Safety Communications Center, Casper Police Department, Mills Police Department, Natrona County Sheriff's Office, Casper Fire-EMS Department and Wyoming Medical Center.
