Help ‘Stuff The Bus’ With School Supplies For Casper Kids
Did you know that every year, it costs families between $60 and $100 to buy just one child’s school supplies? Anyone with school-aged kids is certainly aware, and too many families are forced to make tough choices to cover school expenses. Here’s how we all can help:
The Casper Area Education Foundation and The Salvation Army are teaming up to “Stuff The Bus” – part of a community-wide school supply drive that'll benefit students in need.
July 1 through August 13, you can donate things like #2 pencils, notebook paper, backpacks – just pick up a supply list for any school at a local store where you'd normally go shopping. Then, you can drop off your supply donations at these locations:
- Reliant Federal Credit Union
- Albertson’s East
- UW/CC Offices @ Casper College
- UW/CC Outreach Building on Poplar
- Natrona County School District Central Services
If you don't have time to shop, you can make a cash donation at casperedfoundation.org.
If you or someone you know is struggling and needs help with school supplies, contact a caseworker at the Salvation Army. Stuff The Bus is a project of the Casper Area Education Foundation, in partnership with Natrona County School District #1.
