In today's fast paced world, it's not that hard to stick with your fish Friday's. Most all fast food restaurants all offer fish of some sort. As a matter of fact, according to USA Today, in 1962 McDonald's created the Filet o' Fish to combat the loss of burgers sold on Friday's. The fish sandwich was the first non-hamburger item on the menu and went national in 1965. Now more than 300 million are sold every year.

You'll also see fish fry's popping up all over the area over the next couple months.
