Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills, Quarterback

A week after being named the AFC's Offensive Player of the Week, Josh Allen torched the Commanders for 218 yards on 20-of-32 passing. He tossed one touchdown, a 35-yard scoring strike to Gabe Davis, and rushed for another, finding the end zone from 10 yards out early in the fourth quarter of a 37-3 win at Washington.

Carl Granderson, New Orleans Saints, Defensive end

Fresh off a four-year, $52 million extension, Carl Granderson tallied four tackles, including one for loss, in an 18-17 loss to Green Bay Sunday inside Lambeau Field.

Logan Wilson, Cincinnati Bengals, Linebacker

Matt Stafford has had his fill of Logan Wilson. The Casper product picked off the Rams' signal caller twice in a 19-16 victory over Los Angeles Monday night in Cincinnati. Wilson also registered four tackles in the win. "The Governor" now has nine career interceptions in parts of four NFL seasons.

Tashaun Gipson, San Francisco 49ers, Safety

Tashaun Gipson, the longest-tenured former Cowboys in the NFL, finished with five tackles in the 49ers 30-12 victory over the visiting New York Giants last Thursday night inside Levi's Stadium. Gipson is in his 12th NFL season.

Marcus Epps, Las Vegas Raiders, Safety

Former Wyoming walk-on Marcus Epps tallied four tackles, including two solo stops, in the Raiders 23-18 loss to Pittsburgh Sunday night in Sin City.

Andrew Wingard, Jacksonville Jaguars

Andrew Wingard, a fifth-year pro in Jacksonville, capped his Sunday with one tackle in a surprising 37-17 home loss to Houston.

Mike Purcell, Denver Broncos

The Broncos, let's just say, had a rough day on the beach. Denver surrendered 726 yards of total offense and 70 points in a 50-point setback to the Dolphins Sunday afternoon in Miami. Mike Purcell finished the day with just two assisted tackles in the lopsided loss.

Chad Muma, Jacksonville Jaguars

Chad Muma, a second-year pro from the Denver area, finally got on the stat sheet Sunday in Jacksonville, tallying a pair of tackles in a 37-17 loss to the Texans.

University of Wyoming’s Top 50 Football Players

During the summer of 2021, 7220Sports.com counted down the Top 50 football players in University of Wyoming history, presented by Premier Bone & Joint Centers, Worthy of Wyoming.

The rules are simple: What was the player's impact while in Laramie? That means NFL stats, draft status or any other accolade earned outside of UW is irrelevant when it comes to this list.

This isn't a one-man job. This task called for a panel of experts. Joining 7220's Cody Tucker are Robert GagliardiJared NewlandRyan Thorburn, and Kevin McKinney.

We all compiled our own list of 50 and let computer averages do the work. Think BCS -- only we hope this catalog is fairer.
