If I've said it once, I've said it a million times. I've never seen a community the size of Casper that was as busy as Casper. Sure, for most communities, the summertime is always a little busier than other times of the year, but not in Casper. This area is jam-packed with events, games, get-togethers, and good causes, all the time.

That obviously isn't a bad thing, but it's tough to figure out what you're going to be able to do. So, I thought the easiest thing to do was to give some options for you, your family, and your friends.

If you've been around Casper for a while, you've likely encountered Tammi Chappell. If there's anyone I know who has her finger on the pulse of what's going on around Casper, it's definitely Tammi. She's definitely one of Casper's legitimate cheerleaders. She's on multiple boards, committees, and foundations, plus still finds time to serve as the General Manager at the new Hyatt Place hotel, and go on great adventures.

Well, I knew that if I wanted to know what was happening, I could turn to Tammi. So, that's what I did and wasn't disappointed. There are comedians, concerts, sporting events, art events, BBQs, Pride events, car shows, the best lemonade stand contest, bible schools, and a variety of opportunities.

These are just the things happening through Saturday. Sunday is a whole different ball of wax, as Casper welcomes in the College National Finals Rodeo. For one full week, athletes from colleges and universities from across the country will be in town vying to become the best of the best.
