Tickets On Sale Now For Casper Roughnecks’ Last Games
Hockey season for the Casper Roughnecks began in September, and the regular season is coming to a close. A few weeks ago, the team clinched a playoff spot, and there are only two regular-season series left before the playoffs begin in March.
The Roughnecks are a part of the USPHL Premier Junior hockey league and have been battling for first place for most of the season. If they can advance when the playoffs begin, they'll have a chance to head to Nationals in the U.
This weekend is the last regular season home series for the Roughnecks, and it will be a special weekend with lots on the line. Even though they've already made the playoffs, coach Danny Randall says they want a good weekend on the ice.
we clinched like 3 weeks ago. We're sitting in second place right now, we're just trying to finish out strong. We played Vegas earlier in the season, we won two, and they won one in our three-game set in Vegas. I expect it to be a hard-fought battle; we've improved, and I'm sure they've improved.
Since this is the last weekend, special events occur throughout the final three days.
We got a couple of cool things going on. We're live-auctioning some of the game-worn jerseys that'll be autographed by players. You'll get a chance to roll the dice to get a free ticket at entry. So we're just trying to pack it all in, and obviously the more people in the stands the better for everybody, I think.
The games this weekend are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 *The doors open at 6:45, and the puck drops at 11:15 on Sunday.
