Marching Band Honors Wyoming’s Own Ian Munsick At Halftime
Cheering for the University of Wyoming is a given when you're a Wyomingite. Becoming a UW Cowboy is a lifelong dream for many, and some will finish high school and make that dream a reality. Sometimes, it doesn't work out like you'd hoped that it would, and you have to find another way to be part of the brown and gold tradition.

Country Music Star Ian Munsick didn't attend UW, but there's no doubt that he's found a way to wear the brown and gold and be a part of the tradition. I mean, come on, he's a nationally renowned country star, a born and bred Wyoming native, and the first to headline a night on the mainstage at Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Oh, and by the way, the University of Wyoming honored Ian on Saturday Night at halftime of the border war with Colorado State. Yep, the guy, who in his own words says he didn't get accepted to UW, was honored when the University of Wyoming's Western Thunder Marching Band performed an Ian Music tune.
Even though he wasn't on hand to be a part of the performance, that didn't stop him from lending his expertise to the band. It has to be a massive honor for Ian to have the band entertain UW and CSU fans with his song.

I'm sure we're all thinking the same thing. I know Ian is from the text in his post. Can the University of Wyoming hook him up with an Honorary Degree? Will they start the Ian Munsick "Badassery" Degree to honor Wyomingites who've impacted the state, even if they're not students?
It could happen.
