It’s Time For Casper’s Final Thankful Of The Spring

2025 has given us great opportunities to raise money for eight charities. We've seen many auction items, like boats, go-karts, custom gun safes, firearms, and exotic hunting trips.

We haven't auctioned off time with a Llama yet.

As we wrap up our Spring Thankful Thursday season at Wyoming Downs at the Beacon Club in Mills, that will change this week.

Our final organization on the schedule is the Wyoming chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, which seeks to ensure North America's outdoor heritage of hunting and fishing in a natural setting through education and work on behalf of wild public lands, waters, and wildlife.

You may've recognize that Backcountry Hunters & Anglers was a driving force behind the Carbon County, Wyoming, corner crossing case from 2021. Ryan Simerad, the defense attorney representing the Missouri Four in the case, will be on hand to discuss the recent 10th Circuit Court ruling.

We'll begin the festivities at 5 p.m. by handing out wristbands, selling ducks to chuck, 50/50 tickets, and gun raffle tickets to raise money for this organization.

You'll have a chance at an exclusive Thankful Thursday menu, 2-for-1 Happy Hour drink specials, and a night of family fun at the Beacon Club.

We'll conclude the evening with a live auction with our fantastic Auctioneer, Colby Hales, at 6:30. Make plans to join us to round out our Spring Thankful Thursday schedule.
