A Banana Ball Game In Casper? Here’s How We Can Make It Happen
The 2026 Casper Spuds baseball season begins the third week of May, and things are getting exciting. On Wednesday, April 15, the 2026 promotional calendar and single-game tickets will be released. According to Spuds owner Kristi Hack, this year's season will be jam-packed with fun days. Including the 4th of July celebration with fireworks and an MLB hit, pitch, and run day with the YMCA, which will include a special first pitch. Stay tuned for more season information coming soon.
If you remember last August, the Spuds announced that they were campaigning to bring the Savannah Bananas to Casper, and that campaign is heating up. How cool would it be to see the antics, entertainment, and Banana Ball in Casper? It truly could happen, but the Spuds need your help.

In this video, the Savannah Bananas owner, Jesse Cole, says they've heard from well over 200 cities in every state, as well as from other countries, that want to host a Banana Ball game in 2027. The application period is about to close, and they will then choose the cities that will be on the tour next year.
What does all of that mean? It means Banana Ball is wildly popular, and the Spuds need your help to grab Jesse's attention by sharing your fun and appealing experiences in Casper. When choosing the locations where the Banana Ball Tour will stop, one of the factors they consider is whether the community can live up to the Banana Ball hype and what's best for the fans. Can Casper be that city? Spuds owner, Kristi Hack, says yes.
I think as tight-knit of a community that Casper is, and how we come together to support each other and Wyoming as a whole, we can definitely provide a fun atmosphere. We have an intimate stadium that really can make all of our fans part of Banana Ball.
I'm 100% confident that Casper can and will live up to the Banana Ball hype, and this is how the Spuds need your help. Do you have a fun memory at Mike Lansing Field watching the Spuds, or do you have a fun Casper memory that shows how great this city is?
If you'd like to help, all you need to do is head to the Casper Spuds social media pages or email your memory to Kristi Hack at Kristi@SpudsBaseball.com.
Let's all join forces and show the world that Casper, Wyoming, is up to the Banana Ball Hype Challenge, and bring Banana Ball to Wyoming in 2027.
