Spread Holiday Cheer At Casper’s Stuff The Van Event
Do you hear what I hear? It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go, and starting December 15, Walmart East in Casper will turn into a make-shift Santa's workshop, as Stuff the Van returns for our annual Toy Drive brought to you by Your Local Ford Store.
For six straight days, Monday, December 15 - Saturday, December 20, Townsquare Media Casper, Casper Housing Authority Cares, and other community volunteers will broadcast live and collect toys from 7 am to 7 pm each day.
Each year, the need for help grows, and our mission is to ensure every kid in Casper experiences a great Christmas. To make that happen, we team up with our friends at the Casper Housing Authority, the Boys and Girls Club of Central Wyoming, the Child Development Center, and many more organizations to collect gifts and deliver them to families in need.
There are many ways you can help donate to Stuff the Van:
- Bring an unwrapped toy, game, or other gift items to our broadcast December 15 - 20 at Walmart East in Casper.
- Make a cash donation by either stopping by the broadcast Dec. 15 - 20 or via this PayPal link.
All monetary donations are used to purchase gifts we didn't receive, the toy drive, or other items to help the gift distrubution
- Donate your time to help at the distribution center, or start a collection at your office, church, gym, business, or in your community, and drop the items off at our broadcast Dec. 15 - 20.
- If you'd like to volunteer, email development@chaoffice.org to register. Include your name, company (if applicable), and phone so we can connect. Please allow up to 24 hours for a response. We are only human!
There are well over 1,000 kids who will go without Christmas if we don't continue the tradition that's been helping Casper families for almost 30 years. With that many kids, we're always thinking about how to collect that number of toys and gifts.
This past summer, we teamed up with the Casper Spuds for Christmas in July, where we collected a good amount of toys.
Also, the great folks at Casper's PetSmart donated 1,000 stuffed animals for the kids of Casper.
Get ready to be a part of one of Casper's largest and longest-running toy drives, Monday, December 15 - Saturday, December 20, at Walmart East in Casper, brought to you by Your Local Ford Store.
