We've discussed in the past the importance of performing maintenance on your vehicle before winter arrives. Check your belts and hoses, adjust your fluids from summer to winter, and have your oil changed.

Sure, you could do it all yourself, but in today's fast-paced world, stopping by an oil change shop is often easier and quicker. Sometimes doing that is a task, but the radio station uses Hansen's Qwik Lube in Mills for our vehicles, so I began taking my own truck there, which I did last week.

While I was there, they mentioned that on Veterans Day, all veterans who stop by to get their oil changed will have it done for free, and they asked me to pass the word along—free service for all veterans, regardless of vehicle type.

As a small token of appreciation, veterans (active duty and retired) can receive a complimentary oil change on November 11th at our shop. It will never equal all you’ve given, but we want to let you know you are appreciated and thank you for your service.
Hours 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
No appointment necessary. Drop in. First Come. First Served.
Proof of Service required in the form of:
DD214 | NGB Form 22 | DD256 | ID with Veteran Designation | VHIC
Mark your calendars and please share. Thank you.

Another thing I noticed is that Hansen's will come to your house or job to change your oil. I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that having a busy schedule would make this a fantastic service.
