In the video below, you'll hear a woman ask about what there is to do in Laramie, Wyoming, on a Friday night. She and her husband are in town for a family event, but they have the evening available.
Yeah, she knows about bars and restaurants, and that is all fine. But what else is there?
This is actually a great question. Most nightlife is geared towards bars and restaurants. But what if you're not interested in that and are looking for something different?
I scoured the internet to see if I could help her out.
Watch the video below.
There is the Gryphon Performing Arts Theater. They have plays and concerts. Since she is asking about this Friday, 10/09/26, she can see the Jalan Crossland – Snow Train Music Festival from 6:00 PM to 10:00.
Harry C. Vaughan Planetarium (UW campus): Regularly hosts evening and night-sky public shows or special astronomical events.
Studio City UW & Regal Fox Theater (2433 Grand Ave. / local screens): Catch late-evening movie releases.
Laramie Ice & Events Center (3510 Stewart St.): Occasionally offers public ice skating, curling, or special late-evening events.
Those are a few of the best that I could find.
When you think of a town like Laramie, Wyoming, you probably imagine a high-altitude small town of a little over 32.000 people. But it is also a college town, which means culture. Something interesting is usually going on, especially on weekends.
Though you might not want to just hang out at a barn, many of those night spots have live music. So have a look at local listings or, it is easy these days, just ask GOOGLE to tell you what's going on.
