According to a fatality crash summary, Isaiah Carson was behind the wheel of a westbound GMC Sierra when he veered off the road to the right before traveling along the shoulder for several hundred feet.

"The GMC re-entered the roadway and crossed both travel lanes before exiting the road," the summary reads. "The GMC continued down the ditch, where it tripped and rolled through the right-of-way fence and caught fire."

Sadly, Carson, who was not wearing his seat belt, did not survive his injuries.

Driver Fatigue Possibly to Blame

The summary lists driver fatigue/asleep as a possible contributing factor.

There have been 71 reported fatal crashes in Wyoming this year, resulting in 79 deaths.
