Own a Piece of the London Olympics Thanks to New Auction Site
Feeling a bit down now that the excitement of the Olympics is over? If you’ve got a little extra cash and want to bring some of the Games into your own home, a new auction site will let you do just that.
The officially-sanctioned London 2012 auction includes items like Olympic torches, the flags used during the opening ceremony, and even a basketball used in the men’s gold medal match between the US and Spain.
You’ll also find javelins, boxing gloves, a Mary Poppins outfit from the opening ceremony, and of course a whole slew of memorabilia featuring the London mascot, Wenlock.
All you have to do is register and bid — and then find a spot to showcase what will almost surely be the coolest conversation piece ever.
