A man with Cheyenne ties was one of the survivors of Sunday morning's massacre at Orlando's Pulse nightclub.

Chris Hansen, who's dad was stationed at F.E. Warren Air Force Base for several years, was in the club when the shooting started.

"As the gunman came in he was shooting towards the dance floor," said Hansen, during an interview on NBC's Today show.

"You just hear the bang, bang ... bang," said Hansen.  "You're just like okay this isn't a song this is reality and you hear the screaming and you see the blood."

"The guy next to me falls over and that's when I look behind me and see those in the V.I.P. area going down and other people going down," said Hansen.  "I dropped and I crawled until I got to the cement of the patio and got out."
