The choice has been made for the next principal of Kelly Walsh High School in Casper.  Natrona County School District officials say Mike Britt is being recommended to the NCSD Board of Trustees to replace long-time principal Brad Diller, who is retiring at the end of the school year after 23 years in the post.

The Board of Trustees will consider Britt's recommendation at their February 12th, 2018 meeting. NCSD says the recommendation is based on the "invaluable input from the interview teams and the community forum feedback".

According to information provided by NCSD, Mike Britt is currently Principal of Centennial Junior High in the Natrona County School District. He attended Lesley College – Cambridge completing a Masters of Education degree in Technology in Education. In addition, he has completed a K-12 Principal Endorsement program and certification in K-6 Elementary teaching.

Britt was one of five finalists for the position. The others were Christopher Dresang, Assistant Principal at Natrona County High School; Mark Fritz, a High School Principal in Sheridan County School District #1; Gibson Ostheimer, Principal of Park Elementary; and Amy Rose, an Assistant Principal at Kelly Walsh High School.
