NWS: 4-6 Inches of Snow for Casper Tuesday Night Into Wednesday
The National Weather Service has revised upward its prediction for snow accumulation in Casper as a slow-moving spring storm makes its way across Wyoming.
Lower elevations within Natrona County, including Casper, are expected to see four to six inches of snowfall through midday Wednesday, according to a winter weather advisory issued Tuesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, six to nine inches of snow accumulation is expected for the Beaver Rim area. Casper Mountain is likely to see four to eight inches of snow.
The NWS says slick road conditions are possible Tuesday night through the Wednesday morning commute. Travel difficulties are expected, so motorists are advised to use caution while driving.
The advisory is in effect from 9 p.m. Tuesday to 12 p.m. Wednesday.
