Patterson Seeking City Manager Job in North Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Review Journal newspaper has revealed that Casper City Manager John Patterson is a finalist for the same position in North Las Vegas.

That city is described as strapped for cash, and a veritable minefield of problems.

But Patterson’s tenure in Casper has been rough of late. The controversy surrounding Councilman Craig Hedquist and the fissures that created on Council have made Patterson a controversial figure.

Appointed in 2011, he would be heading into an even rougher situation according to the Review Journal, if he is selected for the new job.
